Arrow head or pig nosed puffer. Can any one who keeps or have kept them tell me what they think of them. My LFS has some for $20ea. and they look to be in very good health. I'm interested in hearing about likes and dislikes. I know they are very aggressive and require their own tanks.

Where i work my bosses had a pair and they bred them we have about 15 of their young in. Nice little puffers.
They are intolerant of tankmates although the adult pair did mix with some palembang puffers.
They do bets on bloodworm, prawn etc...

I have one, he is kinda boring except when it is feeding time. If you are looking for an interactive puffer pass on this one.
We have a 5" male in a 20gal hexagon tank on the counter in the shop. He sits in his tube all day. Very inactive.
I do not suggest keeping 2 together, unless you want 2 dead puffers. It may work but you are taking a huge chance that it won't.
Weve got 13 together to problems, the adult pair lived together fine untill the female got a paracite and died.
