Anyone keeping Jau?

Anyone on here keep Jau? Zungaro zungaro? one of the stores around me just got in a baby "Amazon Catfish - Giant" that when i asked to see their order sheet to try and figure out what it was when they admitted that they had no idea what the little guy was, it was listed on the sheet as a Z. zungaro. Im having a hard time finding any pictures of baby Jau to compare and see if it really is one. theirs is maybe 3" and looks a little like a baby Achara/ Tsn or Ornate Pim hybrid. Achara blotches and whiskers with the longer/stretched face of the TSN and the body really reminded me of my Ornate Pim i used to have. Any pics of baby ones would be appreciated so I can get a positive ID on the little guy. Ill try to get some pics of him next time i go in, Thanks!

That's the name they are most usually sold under. Planet Catfish and ScotCat have jau baby pics. They are spotted cute little buttons when small.

Yeah spotted and cute basically describes it. ive done some more searching since starting this thread and found some pictures on scotcat, kinda glad i didnt pick him up. they wanted me to buy it to go with my lima, then tried to get me to buy their tigrinus- not sure either of those would have ended up good

I saw a big one on eBay for sale if anyone here is looking for a giant monster catfish. Beware! read the info if buying! The seller says its very aggressive and is biting staff members while attempting to cleaning the tank!
