Youtube does not hold the rights to any music videos, except the right to distribute those files who are uploaded. Vemo has contracts with some providers of music, aswell as independant artists.

they did change thier name. it no longer is music video television. The word music was removed alittle while
it appears you're right, they need a bigger overhaul then that though. people will always associate mtv with music television. it should be RTV cuz all they show is reality shows
