I have a brown bullhead catfish 12 inches long including tail. The guy who caught the fish told me he saw it swimming in circles as if it were making a bed. He told me no babies were spotted. Today I noticed that the fish is scooping and clearing an area off. It is also running the blue gills off, around the area too. Is this fish going to have babies or is it creating a bed for a mate. Any ideas??? I tell you this tank never has a dull day..from the plants not doing well to the plants taking over. The fish let me know if there are enough territories by harassing each other. and the blue-gill are still chasing and having stand-offs in regards to who is running the tank. I don't see most of the fish even though they are looking at me. I have to make sure I throw enough food in various areas to make they all get something. A couple even hide behind the filters. The catfish re-arranged a massive piece of wood that is the length of the tank. I couldn't get the wood to sit right without falling. I had to put another piece in to hold it up, until I re-do the tank. The tank is still worth it to me. HAHAHA!!!
