im in the philippines for vacation and i wanna know where some lfs are here. im in laoag atm and i was only able to find one lfs and it wasnt really that great.
Anyone know any good lfs in manila?

^ Yeah, don't think there are too many Asians on this forum, especially ones currently living in Asia... although with that being said i know i've seen that there are a few Filipino members here before, although they are probably about as common as people from Hong Kong are on here, which is almost non-existent...

Actually, i was just checking out the "whos got the oldest aro on MFK" thread, and noticed a few of the members there were from the Philippines... the threads quite old, but might be worth PMing some of the members to see if any are still around on the board?

Go to a place called Cartimar. It is a mall setup for fish, lots of arowana's supplies, and a couple stores with Dogs.
You are right I have gone to many of the malls, and the sm malls there as well and only found maybe 3 stores that were not good. When/if you go to cartimar remember that the prices aren't set in stone

YES!!! thank you! I know my filipinos well. Just gotta bust out some haggling in tagalog and i should be fine lol
hey are you in manila or in laoag? if your up north in laoag the only aro you can get there will probably be a silver, and it will surely be overpriced. if you want the more expensive kinds like the super reds, rtg's, spoonheads and crossbacks and all sorts of fish, Metro Manila should be your target. Cartimar has lots of fish and pets of all sorts. if you are looking for arowanas though, lfs besides the stores in Cartimar are a handful also around metro manila. we're talking about direct importers so you'll get really good fish.
