anyone know any good software for drawing a stand?

i want to build a stand but i want to know how it will look before i start
so im hoping someone knows a good program free or not and preferably with a 3D feature so that i can rotate the model

by far the best is auto cad or auto cad inventer if u want 3d

You can try Google Sketch. They have a free version for download. I drew my tank, stand and sump on Sketch and it's pretty cool. You can rotate it in all views. Pretty neat.

+1 for google sketchup. Good enough for most diy type stuff, easy to use, and free.

I work in the architecture field and Sketch Up is probably the easiest to learn especially when you want 3D.
