Alright so I just setup a seller's account on Ebay. Yesterday I had a few auctions close. A few minutes later, I recieved 3 emails from 3 different buyers saying that I've recieved such and such dollars for Instant Auction Purchase Payment. Sounds great, right? Well, according to my account, I've got nothing. I've called Paypal and emailed the sellers with no luck. ANyone have any idea what's going on?

The emails should be send from paypal. It may take awhile for the system to show that you've received the payment

That's what I was thinking. I guess I'm just impatient. I'll see what happens tonight.

Sure sounds like spam / phishing to me. Don't click any of the links in the emails that you are sent. Go directly to paypal.com If you did already click the links in the email, go to paypal.com (preferably now) and change your password.

Paypal should be secure, it takes 3 days to set up a bank account, they will make 2 small despoits over the next 3 days "sometime" and then you contact your bank for the amounts, sign into paypal and add those amounts, you're setup. I've never heard of getting anything like your talking about, I too, rec. a password change and send a message to paypal. Be careful.

I've never had a problem........it's a good thing usually

Ive never had many probs using paypal buying an selling on Ebay. Usually if you get a Echeck(electronic check) you have to wait for it to clear before its in there. But most of the time its Instant an the money should be in there.

I still haven't seen money. I emailed all of the buyers a few minutes ago to see what's going on.
