Sciades parkeri
Does anyone know anything about this catfish? Looks very interesting. Almost sharklike. The author of the post claims it reaches 4 feet. I'd be interested in seeing that, i'm a little skeptical.

Isnt that som sort of trevally (spelling on that?) in with this cat? Then it should be brackish or saltwater? It sure does look interesting.
Rarely imported & if it's truly come from Suriname shipment only, that's surely a hefty price. 4' in the wild, rarely seen ariidae grow big in captive. I'd say max like 2-2.5'

Once had 3 shark catfish I bought at 3" in freshwater and grew them to roughly 16" + tails in pure marine saltwater tank. Shark cats are common but never even seen this species.
