You"ll never know unless it was picked up from a reputable vendor/seller.
But just enjoy because it's a looker.
Im sure in your hands it will bloom into a beautiful orino.
But just for your knowledge...
Orino's are one of...if not the most aggro of all the cichla sub species.
Try some kelberi if you find issues w/ aggression w/ the orino's again.
Tons of growouts to be had now
IMO, location is irrelevant when fish are bigger. If it didn't look good at this size it won't improve. Location comes into play when the pbass are small as that gives you a general idea how it might turn out. Nice Orino!
Appreciate all feedback .
Its not that importsnt that I know location... im just interested in how dofferent locations of the same species can differ in appearance.
Also from the research... true the orino csn be the one of the most aggressive. My last one I had occasionally nipped at my stingrays eyes. But I hope that particular behaviour is a one-off rogue. So far the small 7 inch O and the 9 inch ocell (maybe hybrid) are getting on well . Amd no real bad figting with the much bigger indo tigers. Early days though I know. Lets see in the next few months and hopefully years to come.
