I have 2 small pbass (3.5") and I have no clue what to feed them as the LFS i got them from just received them and didn't feed them yet. So my question is, typically what are baby pbass Fed? Ive tried bloodworms but they show no intrest. Or it could be the fact that they're still stressed. They're really skiddish once I enter the room they're bouncing off the walls until they're on the bottom breathing hard and look really stressed. I just put them in my tank Friday afternoon. When should I try feeding BW again? Or should I go with feeders...

When I picked up my baby pbass they jumped on bloodworms(frozen not live) but it took 2 of them a day or so before they would eat em. Ive never had a prob with them eating I'm sure they are just settling in and avoid feeders if you can.

Ok. They pooped in my tank and it was black/dark grey. But I guess they need more time settling in.

I just got 4 babies myself on friday. They r acting just like yours. I had live blackworms that the lfs said they were feeding them put they had no interest. I have a small tank set up with about 100 guppies n rosey reds since i new i was getting them. 3 of the 4 will hammer them when they swim near the corner they had from me in. when i walk away for 5 minutes all feeders will be gone. I am going to contiue feeders for now since i see no way to try and pellet train em if they just hid in the corner when i get near the tank

Feeder guppies to put some weight on them, then you can conver to pellets, silver sides and/or shrimp.

Lol ya. I caved! I got some rosy reds today. Ima stick with them until they're big and bulky maybe 5-6" or so. These kelberi's a little to expensive to give the "eat or die" method, even more so since they're so small.

No need to starve them, but keep offering pellets or frozen everyday before feeding them the rosys.
