can someone please tell me what kind of peacock this is and if there are different colored ones that are this beautiful? I bought some other ones... not one turned out like him.

Looks to me like it is a Aulonocara Stuartgranti (Ngara) aka Flametail peacock.

There are a couple different peacocks with this coloration. Auloncara baenschi and Nimbochromis venustus have yellow bodies and blue faces. In any event, even individual species can vary in coloration due to where they were collected. They can alos hybridize. Peacocks have a pretty wide color range but a lot of them are as beautiful as this one. Red Empress have the blue head and a red body. Any of the Auloncara, Copadachromis, Nimbochromis should give you good color. If you have more than one male of the same species, not enough females, or there adult coloration is similar, you will probably only have one colored male. You can either have a species tank with one male and 3 or 4 females, or you can try a bachelor tank with all males of somewhat different coloration.

I thought it looked closes to that also, but its still looks a little off ... its the top blue fin most are yellow, or so I thought...?

The midnight has a blue to black top fin with a whiteish blue outline =) or to me they do. I does look a bit like a hueseri but still something just looks off to me, maybe its a cross? I am not positive it just looks off to me... :D Thats why I special order!
