Nah, sorry it's definetly a Marbled Pim http://www.planetcatfish.com/scripts/clog_link.php?q=leiarius+longibarbis. Great fish but need a big tank. They go nuts if they're barbels touch both sides of the tank at the same time. It's one beautiful cat though.
Planet Catfish says those max out around 10". This fish is 17", and the photos don't look the same. The dorsal fin is different, pattern is different, barbels are different, and caudal tail is different.

No prob, I knew it wasn't a jaguar I've got three of those. They're cool lookin, but they're real big time hiders(jaguar).
I kept mine in a pretty bare tank so I could view them. They're real nocturnal even with a blue light I couldn't coax them out. So thats when I decided to give them nowhere to hide. Now I've re-introduced hiding spot and only one will stay in the open. They're all about 5-6" though the brazen one is the widest around 3" wide. Important too is that 77 degrees is the max temp they'll take any higher and they'll refuse to eat. Once they start eating they eat blackworms, shrimp, earthworms and red wigglers.
