ANYONE KNOW WHAT THIS IS???

hey guys i have this orange fuzz growing in the hood of my aquarium. any ideas what it is or how to get rid of it?

another weird thing that is growing in my tank is this white cotton looking thing that grows on the suction cups and silicon. i have removed it with a toothbrush but it keeps coming back.

any feedback appreciated.

I get the same white stuff growing on some of the suction cups of my tank and i just tend to clean it off by hand when i clean the tank... doesn't seem to harm the fish so i never really worried about it...

no i dont, i feed this live feeders. fish, shrimp, crickets.
