Anyone know what type of Rainbow fish this is?

I got him/her at my LFS and was told "It's a Rainbow fish". But what type? Also, it's dorsal fin looks shaved down. Is this normal?

Thank you! I thought maybe it is a Boesman (sp?) but the only color I have seen them is is gold/silver.

I think he/she means Glossolepis wanamensis steve. Never heard them called emerald rainbow. Given the size of the anal fin and body shape, probably correct ID though.

Yes probably right, or G. kabia, or maybe a hybrid, those Guys aren't fussy who they breed with.
