Hey. So does anyone know where i might find a gar in canada or willing to ship to BC? Im interested in the spotted, longnose, or florida. I have my local fishstore checking it out but im not sure there going to be able to come up with anything so im trying to find another option. Any help would be awsome. Ive already checked bc aquaria and talked with canadian aquatics but there not planning any imports of the species at this time so curious if anyone else has an in to somewhere? Thanks for any help anyone may have. Dont worry i have done the homework, and also if anyone does have any to sell, i need to know what your feeding them currently so i can be prepared when it shows up.

ok i was at my lfs today and there was a florida gar there today, i was looking for one for about 3 weeks they told me this is the time of year to get them so keep looking hard because they will show up at your local fish store soon. remember this is the best time of the year so dont stop looking.
ive been talking with both local stores and there more into tetras and such, were not a huge town, i have them checking there suppliers tho, thanks for that. Now we cant talk about big als, i almost cried when i saw the selection and prices at the big als in edmonton when i was on holidays. there awsome!. There are a few around me that i know of except i need to go either 800km east or 800km south. and neither ship. thanks tho.
man what part of canada are you in?? i have a feeling that its going to be at least 60$ for one if they can get it, my royal pleco L190 was 100$ ive seen them at big als for 30-50 and same with canadian aquatics in vancouver has some pretty good prices too, its hard up here with no competition.
I know my lfs in Kelowna called jungleboogie had some in stock when I was there a couple weeks ago and I think the owner will ship them. The number is 778-478-9669.
