Anyone mixed Scombs and Tatt Payara?

I am just wondering if anyone has mixed different types of Payara and were there any issues.

I have two Scombs already but have ordered a Tatt online of a similar size.

Initially they will be in the same tank but the tatt will move on to my bigger tank

Plan is for them to be together for probably a couple of months, do they coexist ok? My two scombs are fine together

Yes, in my experience. I have a tat and two scombs in a 125 gal which all co exist peacefully.

I am 6 months in and all is ok

What else if anything do you have in with them and how long have you had them.

They fascinate me these fish so I am hoping that I can keep them long term

Unfortunately lost my Redtail through aggression and one of my Scombs literally disappeared into thin air, never found any sign of it! The last remaining Scomb is happy and healthy though - it even eats pellets!

Thats a shame about the scombs and red tail. Mine are still living together fine although I need to make a bold decision to move them in to the bigger tank that has bigger mouths as I have a new tank on order and need to move the existing one first

My scombs I have had a year now and I love it such a cool fish always out at the front patrolling . The Tatt is still so shy 5 months on and a bit trikier to feed

I'd love to see the Tatt out more as its about 8" and such a cool looking fish
