anyone near the james river around charlottesville virginia

Might be going that way for my bday next weekend. Was wondering if anyone lived near there that fish and could show me a few spots to catch some bass trout or catfish.

i live right beside the james river, but about 2 hours south of charlottesville. down here during the summer months fishing is pretty bad because it gets so hot here in VA. the only thing i ever catch in the summer is catfish, and thats fishing at midnight with chicken pieces or fish heads. you can catch lots of blue gill with night crawlers, though
