Anyone not feed often also?

I feed the fish/frogs every 2-3 days. Reason I do so is:

1. I absolutely hate when they look fat. It just looks weird to see a bullhead catfish with a 3 inch stomach hanging down from it or a Florida gar with a huge belly because I'm feeding it 4 shrimp a day. So with feeding every few days they don't look chubby constantly.

2. Nitrates stay lower because there isn't as much waste of food nor are they producing as much.

3. I do have a life and some days I just don't have the time to open the tank and make sure they all get at least some amount of food. I like to spend 10-15 minutes when feeding to feed every fish at least once.

On the other hand though, Juvies will always get fed at least once a day.
But the 125 is all adult fish, well not juvie at least.

I also do this with the frogs. So does anyone else not feed daily like the norm.

i can never feed my fish 2-3 days, i would feel so bad bout starvin them, but all my fish r either babies or juvies, i would think anyone who has adult fish would do 2-3 days

I generally do every other day, my cichlids I like to feed everyday, but they don't get fed very much.

Most do daily I think, but it's all good. But like I said I hate when they look obese, I mean it's a fish, lol.

i feed my gulper catfish every 2-3 days.

Anything over about 6" gets every 2 days, maybe 3. Anything under that gets fed everyday.

Bichir 2-3 days (have to get out the shrimp just for him/her)

I'll go just 1 day...I feel bad, and they stare at me everytime I go by the tanks....I CAN'T DO IT!!
