anyone own a vampire pleco?

i currently own 2 of these beautiful guys, the only problem i have with them is that you never really get to see them there always hiding. anyone else with this problem?

I have one, they start hiding for the first few weeks, then they start coming out later on. when theres food too they also come out.

the more hideouts they have the safer they feel. some plecos are just allusive though, and will only come out at night

I have one too....and yes, mine hides.....except when I put food in the tank....Mine also likes to try and catch feeders....he is usually sucessfull after the 3rd try!
