Just found out Envision is down the road from me. :)

I've read nothing but great reviews on them and James has been quick to answer any questions I have, but I'd like to hear from some MFKers.

So, anyone have an Envision tank? How were your experiences with the ordering process? Please post pictures.

Looks like you get to be the guinea pig for MFK ACWO ...

Nope but I've talked to him and he's very knowledgeable and his prices are reasonable. I will be buying from him once I get enough cash together. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

I would have bought from James if I hadn't come across such a good deal on a 770G that was never even set up. He has made quite a few tanks for guys on ReefCentral. If you do some searches on that site, you will find pix of a lot of his work. From what I've seen, his tanks are works of art...very nice quality.

i bought from james once.still have the tank (8x30x36") and never any problems with it.he was alot more money than say tenecor so i only used him the one time.he seemed very knowledgeable and was happy with the purchase.like i said, in my case, he was expensive.

I've also heard a lot of good things about James and his quality of work. I've also been told his prices were a bit high and from one of the quotes I got, it was a slight bit higher. BUT something to consider.... If he's right up the street from you it might be worth it to pay the higher price! The peace of mind about having him so close in case you need warranty work is paramount! Tenecor would probably charge you $600 to freight and if anything goes wrong, you'll have to pay to freight it back. That's $1200+ right there should something go south. That doesn't mean I wouldn't recommend Tenecor but the convience of having the builder that close has it's benefits.
