Herichthys carpintis "Escondido." I don't know a common name besides carpintis cichlid.
Carpintis is not actually the Texas cichlid, but some people, including some lfs, confuse them. They're closely related but carpintis comes from a different range than the Texas cichlid. Herichthys cyanoguttatus is the Texas cichlid and can actually be found in Texas (and part of northern Mexico). Carpintis aren't found in Texas. Escondido is one of several native locations for carpintis, so it's actually a good thing the shop had the location, assuming it's correct.
Duane and some others can give you more details, including differences in appearance, which are subtle if you haven't kept them.
