Hey everyone. When I was a teenager N.W.A. was one of the biggest group of "gangsta" rappers (boy do I feel old). They actually started the careers of Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, and Eazy E." Look what I found. It's a cleaned up version of one of their most popular songs. The original title is, "F--- The Police." Enjoy, The Doctor. http://www.ebaumsworld.com/video/watch/464518/

Now I don't feel alone!!!

37 here, this brings back Public Enemy as well.
Rap was cool when it was pissed off and had something to say.
Now, it is all bling, bling crap and how many ho (notices no plural) they have.

I'm 37 also. I know what you mean about rap now. Eventhough gangsta rap had a lot of critics, sometimes if you listen to the words, they made sense and had meaning. One of the best was Tupac. Listen to some of his early interviews. He was so well spoke. Also, listen to his song "Changes". Rap nowadays is all about showing off with how much money they have. The Doctor, Shakalu that is, not Dre.

Some new "Oldschool" style you guys might like would be Immortal Technique
He flows.
Listen to his song Dominant Species On the Planet

I was born in '88 and didn't grow up listening to these guys, but as my love for the genre grew, I find myself digging back in time for when music was real. Eazy E will always been one of my favorite rappers of all time. His best song is "The Realest Ni***s".

When I first heard Dancing with the Devil, I was blown away. That song is so powerful all I could do was sit and revel in it.
