I'm 37 also. I know what you mean about rap now. Eventhough gangsta rap had a lot of critics, sometimes if you listen to the words, they made sense and had meaning. One of the best was Tupac. Listen to some of his early interviews. He was so well spoke. Also, listen to his song "Changes". Rap nowadays is all about showing off with how much money they have. The Doctor, Shakalu that is, not Dre.

I was born in '88 and didn't grow up listening to these guys, but as my love for the genre grew, I find myself digging back in time for when music was real. Eazy E will always been one of my favorite rappers of all time. His best song is "The Realest Ni***s".
