Anyone running an Eheim 2260 (the BIG one)

I HAVE HAD ONE FOR OVER 10YR,S THE BEST FILTER OUT THERE THEY HAVE THE PRO3 NOW IT IS A UP GRADE FOR THE 2260 YOU DO NOT NEED THE TAP CONNCTERS WITH PRO 3 BUT IF YOU HAVE THE CLASSIC 2260 GET THE TAP CONNECTERS . MAKES THING MUCH EASIER TO CLEAN I CLEAN MY FILTER TWICE A YEAR . I have it on a 240 6 fish I do bi weekly water changes on my take I have know problems with 2260 at all for over 10 years . get it it takes a lot of filter material . but it keeps water sparkling clean.

i have got the pro3 it a good unit , its got two intakes whitch is good for big tanks
my one moan is i think the spray bar is a bit short

I have the Pro3 Mod 2080 I love it.

Thanks guys. I already have the 2260, so I probably won't be gettign the Pro 3. I intend to fill it with only bio media (other filters for mechanical), so I probably won't clean it. Thanks for the advice. GBG

My one moan is that the standard filter pads do not catch all floaties. I added some classic filter floss and my tank has been sparklingly clear since
