This is my 6.5 - 7" Female Dovii, it's very colorful for a female and pretty aggressive too. Lately it's started thrashing the fake plants that I have in my tank. It seems to like them floating at the top as opposed to anchored in the gravel.
Anyway, in the past few weeks it has really started getting a gold / bronze tint to it's body. In person the body looks more gold but the bronze color really comes out in pics. It's always had a blue tint to it's face but the camera flash drowns out the blue and shows only green in the picture. I've seen a couple females with the blue on it's face but has anyone seen one with the gold and bronze body like this?
