Anyone in socal see baby or young pikes at their LFS? Im looking for a small one, let me know if you know of any places. I do not want any links, or internet sites. I only buy fish after looking at it for a while, shipping is out of the question.

I don't know if Strictly Fish in lakewood has sold theirs. Might want to check, Carson and Palos Verdes cross streets. I saw one or two last week.
The Aquarium in Culver City has Crenicichla sp. Xingu 1. About 3-4 inches big and still the bright baby orange color. They also have others (1 pair of adult Cobra pikes) but they are pretty much fully grown.

this place is pretty nice, went there during my lunch break, but their prices seem kinda high.

Ive seen those orange ones before, I hear the orange coloring gets dull as they age, is that true?
the color on juvie orange pikes will change when they get older ,true , yes I do enjoy fish that way!
