Anyone seen this video

Gulpers can eat things longer than them but that's a pretty extreme depiction of their eating ability. Not sure of many cats that can match a gulper in take downs.

The video is well known but it also appears that we cannot save enough gulper tank mates yet ;)

People keep falling for their "so ugly it's pretty" trait and place them in their community tanks with tank mates that "definitely cannot be eaten"... until they can be. Can be. And can be again.

First time I've seen it. I had no idea they could eat something that large with them being not too much bigger than their meal.

They really are so ugly they are cute, I'm not sure they'd make a good addition to your lake though

It's a good reminder is what I was trying to say. BTW, the pictured predation is far from record occurrences in terms of prey size to gulper size relationship.

"Your" as in anyone's?

I meant your cat tank, I was just joking because some real monsters are in there.

Right :) gulpers are mini-monstrosities and belong with other such "conspecifics", if any at all.
