Anyone selling freshwater clams?

Same here man , been looking for a while , just be carefull when u egt them , if one dies and u dont find him soon , ure water will mess up bad.
 
man at my now exgirlfreinds dads house in new hampshire that was a foot away from the lake (litteraly) they had so many in the lake it was crazy. i wish i could have brought some back to new mexico.
 
they have freshwater clams at Asian supermarkets in Westminster, ca for like 2.99 lb:ROFL:

these are the ones you want.. they are small and bury themselves in the substrate. you can watch the substrate move, it's really cool.

the big black ones are tough to keep and if you keep them with fish they will just become fish chow. they don't bury themselves completely.. and they hang out with their shells partially open and the fish pick at em till they die and then eat em. or if you have bigger fish.. like my RTC and my big peacock bass, they don't bother with the killing part, they just break the shells and eat em.

that is unless you want them for fish food.. then i guess the bigger ones would be better because you would be getting more bang for your buck.
