Just curious if anyone has any spawns yet. There seems to be some debate on whether this fish is C. Gephyrum or C. cf. Ornatum. I trust what Rapps tells me on this until proven otherwise but some additional pics of these fish spawning would help, either way I'm curious as there was some big ones Rapps had in stock. I have 3 that are about 4" now.
Anyone spawning C. Ornatum yet?

I most definitely have a bonded pair but there is no spawning they are in a community at the moment when I finally move I will be putting them in their own tank in a secluded corner somewhere and see what happens. I really don't see any breeding behavior either. Male is around 8" female is around 6" and I have another 7-8" male that is kept alone bc of serious aggression. I feel like it has something to do with temperature, these fish like it cooler than my other SAs, 78-80 max any warmer and they turn yellow and sit at the bottom, looking stressed.
I moved my 3 from a 55 I had them divided up for a while into a 125. I left them for a couple weeks still divided and couldn't resist and pulled the dividers to see. Male is 8-9 female is 8-9 and one 7-8. The bigger m f attacked the smaller f. Then it looked promising with the other two for a while...she had different coloration than normal but no bars. As the day went on the situation degraded and the next morning the male was just about killed. Fins mowed down and scales missing on his side and could barely swim since his fins were so short. He is good now growing fins back. I will post some vids n pics later.
