I bid on ebay for a 'python ulti-vac pond mantainace system ' today ,anyone use this ? ive been in serious need of a python for a long time ,hoping I didnt 'overkill' though.I want to use for my indoor pond as well as a couple big aquariums that are hard to gravel vacuum (due to my stupid impractical placement).im tired of hauling 5g buckets (sorry if I posted in the wrong place).Any comments? Is this a good investment?

Love my python and would hate to go back to the old bucket brigade-Anne

How do you guys fill up your tanks with the python? Do you add stresscoat or dechlor after the water is in the tank? I've always wondered this. I've always did my water changes with the python and filled in with buckets.

I couldn't imagine having big tanks without one.

Good choice!

I can attach my python to my sink and after matching the temp it goes directly into the tank, while adding some salt and dechlor every few minutes.

Hey! Love THat PYTHON!!! I have a water softner and water filter on my house so I just fill staight from the tap. Cost about $1000.00 bucks for the unit and installation, but well worth. I now have soft skin and hair also!
