Hi All,

As i'm in the process of trying to locate some FD Earthworms to try and feed my eels, i thought i would ask here if anyone has tried feeding these items to their Eels (Fresh or Freeze Dried), and how did they take to them???

Since i'm having a hard time finding foods they would accept other than Defrosted Frozen Market Prawns...

Mine used to eat chopped earthworms, eventually some halfies, maybe a full one never know. God I miss that little guy.

^ Thats good to know, coz i was thinking if i can get some FD ones, maybe i can re-hydrate them in some tank water and get them onto some higher protein foods to help the grow nice and fat...

Anyway, if i remember correctly, you sold yours to someone and then tried to hunt it back down again??? And i take it by your post, you still haven't located him or a new one yet?

I cultivate red wigglers. I'm surprised you are still having problems getting them on a floating pellet or FD Krill. They can grow quickly on that diet.

Good memory man, not sure how you knew that. So I contacted the guy I sold him to, contacted the guy he sold him to, which contacted the guy he sold him to only to hear that he died in a power outage. One of my biggest fish keeping regrets to date. Canadian dollar so crap right now I can't justify finding one in the states, and we don't get em here. I will eventually own a sw moray system, until then I will be perpetually unsatisfied.

Yeah for some reason they show no interest in Carni Sticks or FD Krill really annoying... So decided to try the next type of food to see if i'll have more luck???

Ouch, that sucks to hear, nothing worse than hearing a prized fish of yours has been lost to something like a power outage...

^ 888fish 888fish , thanks bro!!! im actually on my way out now to fish street after a meeting, so will see if they have this, although im almost sure i've seen tetra Krill for saw here...

IMO, this brand smells more "fishy", much more than the more expensive San Francisco Bay Brand I buy. My morays take to the tetra brand much more. Give it a week, direct your flow to keep floating krill to one corner of the tank. Krill should give them brighter colors. If they don't eat it, I owe you !
