Picked this little guy up for my grandmothers tank like a week ago. Maybe 3/4 of an inch long. Let me know what you guys think it is. Sorry about the crap cell pics.
Anyone up for an ID on a pleco?

Not a clue honestly. I went to a petstore near my work and they had quite a few fancy plecos in a tank and the kid that bagged my fish sold them all at common pleco prices. All but bushynose. I even stated that they arent common plecos and he tried to tell me that there are only two kinds of pleco in the world. Bushynose and regular. They just come in different colors lol. So i said why not. I bought 6 different pleco. The only 3 i can id are a 6" bristlenose,8-10" leopard sailfin, and a bulldog or widemouth.
I just did a google search. Does look alot like them. But this one has a ring around the base of his tail also. Mabey its something that fades out? Because that is identicle to mine other then the ring, and no bristles
Do they all not have them when they are small? There was a good dozen of these little ones none with any bristles
This Guy was one of my pick ups. Hes atleast 7.5-8" put him in my oscar tank with the sailfin i also picked up. Cant get a pic of the sailfin. Tons of rockwork and hides in there to disapear in
When they are young they have no bristles. Males develop them as they mature.
I had a group of 4 sometime ago and they all had the white ring and no bristles,I guess they were all females.
