Anyone use a Lobster Tank?

Someone local has a Lobster tank for sale, it's 36.5" Long x 24" Wide x 20" Tall, it's built onto a stainless steel stand. He said the tank is in great shape but the pump on the filter is having some trouble. So anyone know if something like this would be worth the effort.. he's asking $100.

Sounds like a perfect breeder or growout tank. Go for it if that's what you're looking for...the price is right. Will he throw in a free lobster?

you could acutualy do a mini cold water setup in that tank!

Yea I told the guy I was interested but there is one guy in front of me.. so if he doesn't take it I will.. I just didn't know if there was something different about those tanks that might pose a problem, say like the type of filter, etc..

the only thing that may cause a problem is a lot of lobster tanks have chillers on them but im sure you could take that out easily and maybe sell it to make back some of your money. other wise make it a cold water tank. you might need a litle extra filtration depending on how the filter is

A 75gal with filtration, stand, and possibly a chiller, for $100 is a deal any way you look at it.
