HI,
I'm looking for input on whether anyone has used Catalpa Tree Branches in your tanks? I have found very little reference to it's use on the internet, but I know it is rot resistant etc.

Thanks,

Daren

The Catpala worm is one of the most effective freshwater fish bait. The blood of the catpala worm commonly drive freshwater fish into an eating frenzy! Since the catpala worm gut-stuffed with the leaves of the catpala tree are safe for freshwater fish, and as you stated the wood is not susceptible to rot, you should be OK with using the wood.

The interesting thing will be to see if the wood can absorb water enough to allow the catpala wood to remain submerged. This in my oppinion will be the make it or break it area in using catpala as a tank decor.
