Over the last 3 months, I've started to used Purigen and really like how clear it makes my water. Yesterday I was watching a bunch of YouTube videos and watched a video on Fluval maintenance posted by Fluval Aquatics. They mentioned a product called "Total Clear" which is a synthetic resin mixed with a high grade carbon.
Doing some Googling, I wasn't really able to find a lot of information about this stuff, so I thought I'd post something here and see if anyone had ever tried the stuff.
