Links not working for me. What's the name of the stand of the stand if u don't mind?

Thanks jaws!

The top shelf sits at 72", do you plan to cut this down or sit the tank on the very top shelf?

Personally, I wouldn't do it. With a fully filled and stocked 180, it is going to be very close to the shelf weight limit. So, any shift in weight, such as when you happen to lean up against it during maintenance, would be worrisome. I just wouldn't have peace of mind with a 180.

However, I think this shelf would be fantastic for a bunch of small breeding tank system.....especially for the non-DIY people.

I agree with xraycer. My impression is that will need to put the tank on the bottom shelf, unless you have 2,000 lb of other stuff to put on the other shelves.

The manufacturer seems to want the heaviest item on the very bottom.

Another thing that came to mind is flex. While it can hold 2Klbs, how much flex is there going to be? Unequal flexing and large aquariums don't mix well.

just to say the same, these types of shelving do flex alot.

we use commercial grade at work. in that kind of storage shelving. that would be fine for your garage storing but not for a fish tank.
