MIRAGE VITA

Mirage Vita, specially formulated vitamin, helps to increase resistance to stress and immunity from infectious diseases. This vitamin is very effective in protecting the nutrients that are necessary in the fish diet. It would also help the fish to rid the body of foreign invaders by increasing the production of antibodies thus preventing the incurring of illnesses. As a result, it aids in prolonging the life span of your fish.

Mirage Vita encourages the growth of stronger bones and skin in your fish. This will help the fish to recover from injuries much quicker than usual and with lesser complications. Your beloved fish will now be able to remain active and healthy under your care.

Recommended dosage

1 teaspoon of Mirage Vita for 200 litres of water

Directions to Use
1) For fishes with Bad Appetite/Stressed, use Mirage Vita DAILY for Seven days with DAILY Water Change of 25%.
2) For Maintenance, dose Mirage Vita after with weekly Water Change.

Note
As mirage vita is ACIDIC in nature,
1) spilt the dose 50% of the recommended dose, 12hours later another 50% this is done to prevent large ph swing
2) dissolve the powder before adding into the tank or add into filter/sump/ohf
Do not overdose.

Interesting. I've never used mirage, but I do use Boyd's vitachem. I add it directly to the food. I soak tilapia, shrimp, and scallops in it for about 6 hours. I do this a couple times a week. I mainly use it for the vitamin B1. It does say it can be added directly to the water as well.

I only use seachem garlic, i soak the shrimps and squid for my rays food for a couple hours with that before i put them in to the fridge..

But today i just came across this mirage vita product, shared by a friend.. so before trying it id like to see if theres anyone here use it as well :)

I think what I'm using is a similar product. I'm going to google it and compare the ingredients. I use boyd's vitachem vecause it was recommended by RD. RD. and I know of a couple ray keepers who use it also.

It seems to be quite popular in Singapore.

Here's my issue with this product, they market it as vitamins, yet it seems to be used when most would consider medicating the fish. I can not find any listing of the actual ingredients. For that reason, I would personally not use it, or recommend it until I knew exactly what it consists of. A short term recovery does not always equal long term success, and the regulations for these types of things are quite different between SE Asia, and North America. Just my thoughts....

They make some pretty outrageous claims also...they show a video of a ray with advanced "death curl" and after an alleged 7 day treatment the curl is cured. Knowing a bit of the science behind death curl in rays makes me believe this claim is flat out false. If they need to lie to promote their product it's not a product I plan to stock my shelves with. I'll stick to Boyd's vitachem. It has a proven track record and they don't need to make outrageous claims to sell it!

Thats why i dont buy all the comments there. Hence im askin around here.. lol

Is there any other product similar with boy'd vitachem? I live in indonesia, im afraid i cant find it here as ivent heard of it so far
