Anyone use one of these surface skimmer HOBs?

Getting the model 75 ofcourse. It will be going on my 55 if it actually removes any thing with the skimmer other wise it will go on a 29 gallon in my room.
 
I have never needed surface skimming with fresh water.
With salt water I did but then I a sump with skimmer overflowes which took are of my problems.
 
Ill let you guys know. I found out what I am going to do with it. Since I was discussing my plans on an 8 or 9 X4 tank and started working on reinforcing the floor and installing GFCI stuff. She bought a 46 gallon bow front at her place. Im gonna put this filter on her tank I stocked with my African cichlids and see how it goes. The tank is over stocked and is only running an ac50 :) The new filter will help her a great deal.

EDIT PS I will put a review of the product out when it gets here in 3-5 days or so.
