Anyone use Seachem matrix?

I was thinking of getting some of this and using it in my fx5, and putting the scrubbies from the fx5 in my sump.

I use the matrix, but don't have an FX5. Pond matrix is bigger in diameter and cheaper. I have heard that the matrix can clog the openings in the baskets of the FX5, so using the pond matrix works better or could just use media bags.
