Nope, I try to stay as far away from chemicals for my tanks as possible. Only when it's really needed.

seachem safe and rid-x are all I use at weekly water changes. I don't do any daily maintenance.

Just use aqusafe for water changes...and meds if I Have to treat anything a lil' extra TLC doesn't fix.

I've used that stuff before, but I don't think its worth it. Its the same thing as API Tap Water Conditioner but at my LFS it costs 3x more because it contains nitrifying bacteria. If you have a well established filter, that stuff is a waste of money.

Moved to setup and filtration.

it really does cut back time cycling a new filter. but other than that not much use.
I dose it after cleaning my filter incase i killed any bacteria
