Anyone use new life spectrum fish food, does it do wut it says it does? like in the adds in TFH magazine? thinking about getting some for my 180 gal fishes, seems expensive but is it worth the cost? Can i use the koi formula for them? found a 2240g jar at bigalsonline for 50 bones. i think thats the largest container the company makes.

I use it regulary with all my cichlids. Oscars, Fronts, Veji, r devils, africans.
I have a (baby) @ 4" arowana that loves it in addition to his other food.
It does what it says. Brings out colors great. I don't know about the koi
version, I use the fresh/cichlid formulas.

hmmmmmm, i think i know why, from reading your sig, you animals are almost full grown maybe thats why it dosent work, they alread have theyre permanent adult color, if they ate it when they were younger it could have had an impact on their color. OR, wait, lemme ask you this, are your and dat brightly colored? if they are, theyre probably as colorful as theyre gunna get.
