Hey there,

I'm considering a plywood build and I'd like to know if anyone has ever used Rustoleum Deck and Concrete Restore? I saw a demo in Home Depot, it goes on super thick. I don't have too many reserves about it being waterproof, I'm sure it will be an excellent barrier. I'm just unsure whether or not it's fish safe. It's an acrylic coating when it's cured and it's water based. There is also a MSDS link on the product page and it lists all the ingredients. Maybe a guru could shine some light on this? I sure hope it works, it's pretty cheap.

Here's a link: http://www.homedepot.com/p/Restore-...005126?N=25ecodZbbbrZ7xzZ1z1409i#.UZjyJ7XKa30

Thanks so much!

Chances are if its cheap its not a good solution for waterproofing a tank. Pond liner is the most affordable solution for diy builds imo. Rustoleum products cant even stop rust let alone waterproof lol... look into fiberglass/epoxy from home depot. It has been used many times here.

I usex it on a canopy and stand. Turned out great. Goes on thick - surface needs to be flat or it runs.
