So i just wanted to ask if anyone has used Vermex before to remove small white detritus worms in their fish tanks that have channa striata? or any other channa? Is it harmful for them?
I have had an infestation of these small detritus worms and their numbers have seemed to decrease after the first application of Vermex, but there are still live worms. So i am going to keep using applying every three days. hopefully they all die. My tank is 38L with one very active Channa striata (14 cm long) and I have had him since he was a fry. I have removed a real plant I had in there to remove waste, and I have done regular water changes as well. He eats jumbo carnivore pellets (he has never rejected any food item) and I feed him every day. I have tried to cut down his food to reduce waste in the tank, but it only makes him hungrier, which means he jumps a lot. The pics I am attaching are the best i could take, he doesnt keep still.
