if u dont want 10, he has 5 for 50 also. not a bad deal at all. and i live just south of him. i wanna see if he has other fish for sale too.

A lot would depend on whether you could actually sell them and at what size are they desirable. If you get them past 8 inches or so they become harder to ship and less desirable to a lot of people. You could also have losses in your own tank and damage that would lesson their value.

Lastly...silvers aren't hard to get.

True that....

Wow, those aros are cheap. I don't see red scales on the other aros that he is selling. It is said to be a rare red-scale variety?

Haven't hear of red-scale variety. Of course, all baby silver aros have little red-scales on their body but this is normal and not a different variety.

RED scale RARE veriety...:screwy:
What really bothers me with this dipsihts Arowana auction, is there is no mention of any tanksize nessasary for these beautiful creatures...
So I asked him...prolly won't be posted though...

Im gonna ask him if i can put them in a 20 gallon to see what he says, bet he'll say yes

I will say this guys. It is a comparitively cheap deal. How many does he/she got I wonder? If I did buy some, I would do just that. Grow them out with a soft substrate in my 240 gallon until they are around 8" or so and find homes for them. I mean seriously I have a 240 ready to roll...I would transfer the fish currently in there out since they are just in there to get the tank cycled anyway. Would you think it be too much risk for the fish or for me? Thanks for all the comments and I appreciate your opinions....
