I hear they are awesome I would love to get some but, my LFS cant get them in more than once a month and they can only get 1 per month. so the growth rates wouldnt work for me.

Big Als on Dundas/Dixe usually has tank fulls.....around 3-4"b
I got all three of mine at different times, and now they are all similar in size. Never had them attempt to eat each other or hunt togeter though. Mine are 11", 12", and 13" right now. The 12" I've had for a year, the 13" one I've had for 10 months, and the 11" one I've had for 5 months. Growth rates really vary from individual to individual, but they really slow down after 9", unless they are like my biggest one, which didn't slow down until he hit 11".

I just bought my 6" lima this Saturday from petco for $16...its a bit steep in price for the size but it had not a scratch on it and came ready and willing to take a bite at my bichirs feeders before it even got in the tank. When I purchased it they didnt have but one and that one had been in the tank for about 3 weeks. The most Ive ever seen any pet store have is 2 Lima's at once. Generally they dont seem to really care about each others existance unless food is around...from what ive seen at the pet shops
Huh I was just at Big Als on Dundas and they only had TSN's, I love the Dragon aquarium right beside it, they have some AWESOME fish in there.
