Anyone no any of the mainhead aquatic stores round them. Just that we got a shop built where i work few months ago, They dont sell and Large prohibited fish.. But do home them? Just wondering how good the shops near you are?

Theres only one near me and its the Dukeries branch and its still a 45min drive. Not a bad store have a lot of nice fish in and are rather reasonabley priced. They are a bit hypercritical though they say they dont stock big fish but ive seen them with stingrays in, mbu pufferfish and silverarowana. Thats where i got dwaine my mbu pufferfish.
there was one in the Wyevale garden centre near peterborough (i used to live in norfolk). it seemed ok until i had a problem with parasites after buying from them and a small store near me at close to the same time.
i rang both shops so they could check their stock and quarantine any fish immediately and maidenhead didnt have a clue or even seem to care. the staff seemed amazed that fish could get parasites.
the small mom and pop store shut down for the rest of the day so they could thoroughly check their tanks and quarantine any suspected cases.
all in all i wont use a maidenhead aquarics again. i stick to small and clean family run businesses now.

They got there shop built where i work. so i gave them my 19 inch rtcxtsn we had to move a 12 foot tank in yesterday ill get some pics of it. there stocking it with cats and stingrays!
