So my EBJD has taken a liking to a Flat mat of moss that once was a Marimo moss ball. I see him lounging on this moss all day and night whenever he's not swimming around. Anyone else have fish that have similar behaviors?

Thats really cute my bettas all had sleeping spots in plants. Nessie has a spot and my jack has a spot under his fake tree root

Ha I don't blame him, that moss looks pretty comfy. My catfish digs a foot wide hole in the sand after every wc that he likes to lay in. And my female rtm likes to sleep in a fake hollow log but I have to take it out soon because she's getting too big

My clownfish pair likes to sleep in the corner on top of some live rock.

All my saltwater fish have sleep spots my Huma Huma likes to sleep in a hole in a rock and my blueline sleeps under him.my green chromis sleep in different holes and under corals one always sleeps under a green pavona my clowns have spots and my coral beauty sleeps in a little cave

Definitely. Probably a good half of the 1000 or so fish in my tank have picked out their own little spots that they call home. Sometime they mix things up and try new spots, sometimes they always go back to the same area. My school of clown loaches I noticed like to try out new spots sometimes but they still have favorite spots they use the most.

Even some of the open water type fish like the silver dollars and rainbow fish will go back to the same spots in the open areas of the tank to spend the night. This might be just conducive currents to allowing them to sleep without drifting around though... not sure.

my brother had a black ghost knife that would lay down inside a fake ceramic cave. always laid on it's right side no matter which side it swam in..
