So, I have my 10g setup with 2 M. Ramirezi, 5 Ghost Shrimp, and a fair amount of plants. I was wondering if I could put any kind of Pleco this tank aside from Bristle Nose? I kinda of want something exotic that stays smaller like a BN.. but not as common. It doens't have to be super rare like a L-046 or anything. Would a L-260 (Queen Arabesque) work? I hear they stay around 4'', but you guys know more than me and can correct me if I'm wrong. Someone also suggested a L-037. Is this a possibility?

BN's don't all stay small. There are hundreds of plecos that will stay under 4", and even some that stay smaller such as ancistrus claro. L046 isn't very rare at all, but rather just expensive. If you are looking for something that will eat algae as well as a common BN, look at the L183, many of the chaetostoma species, and otocinclus.

I was actually looking into some Otos. Do you know if they will eat BBA, or brown algae?

I can really take care of the algae myself, but I would like to have something living in the tank that I can watch, and that will actually serve a non-aesthetic purpose. However, I'm really liking the looks of the L183 that you suggested. Do you have anymore information on them? It would definately be a very welcome addition to my tank!

The brown algae will be taken by them, but the bba will not be eaten by many fish. You can try amano shrimps though.
