Anything on Pannamensis?

i got a beautiful pannamensis male and know nothing of them so...i know the male gets 5 inches but nothing else...help?

they are central american
i know they aren't huge but you know

for a central they are downright peaceful, and spawn at a very small size, my female

wasn't 3" when they did.

hard to see from the old ph/cam shots, but there are eggs in the PVC.

yea they are very nice fish ive been trying to get a pair for a while, should of ordered them when i had the chance, i think there in the cryptoheros family if im not mistaken

Archocentrus species actually. I have been looking at getting a pair going. I think I am going to try and find some at ACA. I can give you more info after I have kept some.

i thought they were origonally in archocentrus but after examining the jaws and teeth they switched it to something else then to cryptoheros

They are Cryptoheros, not Archocentrus. My LFS has a pair they're selling for $40. I almost got them today, but it felt like a little too much money.

I would guess you'll find them at the ACA, if not, one of the Chicago guys has been very successful breeding them and has been letting them go for a very reasonable price. Put a "want to buy" on the gcca.net site. I no longer have my pair.
