Hey everyone, this guy on Craigslist is offering me his arowana for a good price and claims because of the darker top half of its body that it is a cross between a black aro and a silver. Any validity to that statement or is this just a silver?

The middle photo is of the best quality and it shows a normal looking arowana to me.
Thanks guys, yeah I’m trying to purchase a Black aro but it’s rough finding a low priced one and I thought this might be my way of saving some cash.
Yeah this is definitely a silver. Many fish have dark tops as a form of camouflage, and it's how the light works on them..
