i want to add some salt to my tank to help with stress but htey've never had a lick of it so should i do it slowly?? its for a 100g tank, how much salt should i use and how often? thanks

about 20 Tbs. which is about 1 1/4 cups. i would mixx in a 1-2 qt. pitcher and add it slowly into the tank.

Lots of people suggest 1 tbs per 5 gallons maybe 1 tbs per 10 gallons to start. I'm at a steady 1 tbs per 10 gallons and all the fish (and 3 snails :O!! )
are doing really good.

I'd start at 1 tbsp/5 gallons. Mix the salt into aquarium water in a container until it is dissolved, and then pour it in.

I pour it in straight...just watch to see whether there are fish in the way and in goes the salt....
